Create a downloadable MDB file so we can inport our collections into a local file
The Collection tab is cool, but I would like to be able to download a file of my collection so I can create custom reports in Access or Excel.

Add 4th Edition stats to monsters
Status: startedFor now I'm planning to add Level, Role, Leader, Origin, Type and possibly Keywords. I haven't been following 4th Edition too closely, so I'm not sure if there's still an SRD/license that lets me share additional information such as the stat blocks, tactics, etc.

Add promo miniatures
There are several types of promos: Organized Play or Retailer Kits are labeled D&DCxx, xx from 1 to 77 so far (with two labeled 17), Promos have various labels like "promo" or "gencon1". GM Rewards are labeled GMRxx. It would be nice to include them in the database. I ha... more
Status: under reviewA list of these would be nice, particularly in a spreadsheet format.
My only hesitation in adding these is that I feel like most players won't have them (since they are so special) so are they worth the time it takes to enter them all? How many promo miniatures are there total? 77?

Add descriptive tags to help GM find minis for encounter.
Descriptive tags would be something that might not have anything to do with actual miniature stats, only what the fig looks like. It's okay to use tags for descriptive tagging. My only fear is when people start tagging with opinions and not factual information.
I've been thinking about letting users put together their own custom grouping of miniatures. For example if you had suggestions for the miniatures to use in a printed publication, you could create a custom group, add all the minis you used and maybe even add some notes or names for each. You could also use this to store lists like "minis for my next game", "worst paint jobs", "minis that look stoned", "cthulhu miniatures"

Tag categories
It would be useful to be able to tag tags. For example, it would be nice to be able to tag "breastplate", "full plate", etc. as "armor" so you could check a single tag to get all the categorization by armor type.

Add 3.5 SRD data for monsters
It would be neat to have the 3.5 SRD stats for monsters associated with miniatures that represent that monster. That information would be useful/handy when creating encounters.

Import from Maxminis.com (Excel or XML)
The ability to import our collection from Maxminis.com (which can export their data as an Excel spreadsheet or XML file) would save a lot of data entry for those of us with collections there.

Include image of RPG Stat card
On the individual miniature page, add an image of the RGP stat card included with the miniature
Status: startedI started looking into this tonight. I grabbed all the card images (skirmish and RPG stats) from the Warband Generator on the Wizards site but unfortunately all the images are 100KB+ JPEGs when they really only need to be 10-20KB GIFs. I want to conver the images to not add ~300KB of downloads to each Miniature page.

Create encounters based on Environment and Minis owned
I'd like the ability to choose an Environment and have the site generate a random encounter based on that Enviroment, the minis I have and which creatures belong to that Environment.

All user contributed images
Extra photos of the miniatures can give a better idea what that mini looks like. That's especially true for the earlier sets, when Wizards used paint masters rather than production miniatures for their poster photos.

Add completion percentages for each set - 52/60 minis, 86% etc
For those of us who're trying to complete our collections set by set, or just use the completion information to decide what booster to buy next this would be a really nice feature to have.

Let us add mini's you're missing
If we could add minis not currently in ddmdb, even if they only showed up for ourselves, maybe you could "approve" them to be used for everyone rather than retyping them. I'm imaging that some users would be more "trusted" than others after a while, so as soon as new releases... more

Tag A Random Figure
A link to go to a random figure would be useful for random tag tweaking, allowing a user to cycle through figures randomly and add/edit tags. The pages for this could be the normal pages or a minimal tagging page that contains the name, figure image, and the tagging interface.

Collection export as simple XML or CSV would be fine
Access and excel aren't necessary as they all import csv and structued XML. Something as simple as
Set #, Mini Name, # in collection would be outstanding.

Special releases minis
I suggest you include special release minis, such as, for example, Gaming Day sets.
